The Utah Citizens Advisory Commission (CAC) on Chemical Weapons Demilitarization provides a means for exchange of information between the Department of the Army's Chemical Weapons Demilitarization Program and the State of Utah and its citizens. The Commission evaluates information on issues related to the Chemical Weapons Demilitarization Program and advises governing authorities in the State with respect to the health and safety, risks and benefits to the citizens of Utah.  Please view the CAC Statute for more detailed information.

The Citizens' Advisory Commission members are appointed by the Governor to oversee the chemical agent demilitarization process.  The commission's regular meeting schedule is 6:30 p.m. on the third Thursday of every other month, unless otherwise noted.  The CAC minutes are posted to the web site after approval by a quorum of the commission.
